Who We Are

Medis specializes in out-licensing high-quality generic pharmaceuticals to third-party pharmaceutical companies. Established in 1985, we offer a broad portfolio of 185 generic pharmaceutical products, mainly in the form of tablets, capsules and injections.

Our portfolio includes a growing range of specialist oncology products and product formulations, predominantly solid oral dosages.

We develop these products in house and provide our customers with the necessary regulatory support. In fact, we have a proven track record in securing regulatory approval prior to patent expiries, and have supported our customers in obtaining marketing authorizations in over 140 countries.

Medis has full backing from our parent company, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. We draw on their development and manufacturing capabilities, and their team of in-house experts. At the same time, our focus on technical excellence and compliance extends to our treatment of our customers confidential information.

At Medis, we pride ourselves on our longevity and our loyalty. For over 38 years, we have built strong and lasting relationships with our customers, and we are confident that these relationships will only be enhanced going forward.

Our Standards

Our manufacturing sites meet the highest international standards.

Product supply is supported by our internal manufacturing facilities as well as third-party suppliers.

All our production sites are regularly inspected by external authorities. They also undergo frequent internal assessments, as well as customer quality audits.

Our production facilities are all GMP approved. Environmental goals and objectives for our commercial and manufacturing facilities are established by Teva on an annual basis. Several sites have recently made significant investments in retrofitting facilities and equipment with the latest technology, in an effort to put even more focus on reducing energy consumption and waste production.

In addition, each internal manufacturing site has implemented energy conservation projects to reduce energy intensity (KWh per unit output), in an effort to minimize their carbon footprint.

At Medis, we strive to build and maintain strong, lasting and loyal relationships with our customers, through effective and proactive communication, and by optimizing their experience at each stage of their journey with us.

Each customer receives their own dedicated business development manager, who works with them from the very start of the process at the contract negotiation stage, and then deals with the whole commercial lifecycle management of the product. 

They also have their own dedicated customer experience (CX) manager who is their single point of contact for all product orders, general queries, and supply-related matters.

Other support functions are also on hand to make sure customers experience a seamless journey with Medis, including the launch coordination team who ensures all activities and documents are in place for a timely launch to market, and the supply chain team who manage the flow of goods to customers.

Customers have the ability to use the online customer portal, Medis Now. Through the portal, they can place orders directly, view their order histories, and access reports, graphs and other live data on their orders 24/7.
